Mustard Seed, Helston

Godolphin Rd

Mustard Seed is a well established organisation providing employment and training to people with learning difficulties in Cornwall.  Desiring to expand to provide affordable supported living, they worked with Resonance to develop a business plan which led to an initial share issue as a way of inviting individuals to invest in a transformational community organisation. Mustard Seed Property now owns a property housing 5 adults with learning disabilities.  It has also undertaken a further share issue supported by Resonance to further its plans.

Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change, Redruth

the elms

This property was bought by a social investor to secure the site from private development.  This allowed time for a local charitable partnership Coastline and Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change to raise the funds they needed.  The property will eventually be an office hub for the voluntary sector and affordable housing.
