Mustard Seed Trust is a well established organisation providing employment and training to people with learning difficulties. Desiring to expand to provide affordable supported living, they worked with Resonance to develop a business plan which led to a share issue as a way of inviting individuals to invest in a transformational community organisation. |
The Rainbow Charity for Children with Autism, London

Rainbow runs an independent school for children with autism in London. Resonance advised and helped Rainbow prepare for investment to help them grow their education provision from 16 pupils to 70. Rainbow were then able to approach a number of debt and equity investors In the end £4.5m was raised from 3 sources as a mix of bank debt, subordinated debt and grants and the new school was opened September 2010. |

This property was bought by a social investor to secure the site from private development. This allowed time for a local charitable partnership Coastline and Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change to raise the funds they needed.
