Global Entrepreneurship Week takes place from 16 to 22 November 2009. It’s a worldwide movement of entrepreneurial people, with millions unleashing their enterprising talents and turning their ideas into reality.
During Global Entrepreneurship Week is Home Enterprise Day which is about encouraging people to start up businesses from the comfort of their own homes and to shine the spotlight on people that already run successful businesses from home. Home Enterprise Day will recognise inspiring people who are turning ideas into action, hobbies into business, and the spare room into a fully functioning workspace!
Thriving successful businesses are the lifeblood of prosperous communities and in Somerset we have chosen the Monks Yard launch of its “MY Workspace” flexible working space to celebrate Home Enterprise Day. MY Workspace will support entrepreneurs and help them become more successful by providing a space to work, to hold meetings and to network.
